The band plans to continue as a threesome with Jamie taking on some of the musical holes left behind. I know they can do it, they are mostly synth, but just when they were gaining speed.

Jay Reatard dies at age 29.
He's twenty nine. Way too early to go. Jay was numero uno on my need to see live list. He's known for his crazy antics on stage, short but catchy groves, and vast repertoire at such a young age. But now he's dead. Damn it.

Hi. I know this might sound creepy, but I was looking at your father's FB page because we went to high school together. He posted a comment to a post I made today so I wanted to see what he's up to these days. He doesn't have much info there on his FB profile, but I looked at his pictures and saw that you and your mother have FB pages, so I looked at them (just as much as is public, of course) to see if they would tell me anything about him. They told me that whatever he's done since high school, he must have done well because he has a wife and daughters that he is obviously (from the pictures) very proud of.
On your profile page, I saw the link to this blog, so I checked it out just out of curiosity.
I only read this post and I think it's great and so exciting and I'm surprised no one has commented. Congratulations on having such a great night and having a chance to be a star.
